Lessons

If you are keen on learning either Guitar, Bass, Ukelele or would like some training in live singing and microphone use, contact me using the above email address. I am fully DBS checked and have 22 years of experience as a local teacher. 

In my lessons I provide the following services:

• Beginner to intermediate level training in a practise space which has guitar amps, bass amp, keys and pa equipment

• Tailored package for each person based on personal goals - you can choose your preferred method of learning

  • Follow a booklet eg Guitar pathways. I can recommend booklets if this is your preference

  • Use an app eg Yousician. You can bring a device with you which you may be using at home.

  • Have a goal - develop chord skills, learn to solo. I can create something bespoke for you based on your current skill level and how you would like to develop.

  • Learn specific songs or styles of playing

  • Learn to jam/play in a band

• Written feedback on each session which maps your goals and the progress you are making using a shared google doc

• "Play along" features in lessons with backing tracks, drum loops and live instrumentation

• Live pa set up for aspects of lessons to support microphone use and or playing your instrument in a live setting

• Filming can be provided on request

• Recording and audio mixing of performances on request (for additional payment)

• Space for parents to wait if you would prefer to stay "onsite" during shorter lessons

Lessons typically range from 30 minutes up to 1 hour, although there may be times when you would like me to support you at an open mic or gig for longer periods. This can be arranged.
